Hello, Reader
What we're getting into:β
π€ Why AI is not coming for your job, it is coming for your business model
πΈ The $225 package, and what it was actually selling
ποΈ The income nobody in wellness is talking about that is most exposed
π The four moves that make you un-replaceable (do not skip the first one)
π§ This week's episode is a solo one: Will AI Replace Holistic Nutritionists?
Every article you will read about AI and nutritionists says the same thing. Don't worry, it will take the boring stuff. Your relationship with your clients is safe. Adapt and you'll be fine. I read six of them last week. All written for dietitians. All missing the point.
So here's the point. AI is not coming for your job. It is coming for your business model. And for most of us in this profession, those are not the same thing.
The experts say the routine work goes to the machine and the relationship stays human. Fine. Except most Holistic Nutritionists were never paid for the relationship. We were paid for the plan. The $225 three-month package, initial consult plus two follow ups: what was the deliverable? The protocol. The document. Information. We put years of pattern recognition behind a PDF and charged for the PDF.
AI did not create that problem. It made information free, which is actually kind of a great thing. But when the thing you charge for becomes free, the question isn't whether you get replaced. It's how long your pricing holds. For some of you, that clock is already running.
Who Is Most Exposed ποΈ
One line, and I want you to figure out which side of it you're on. A practice is you trading hours for protocols. When you stop, the income stops. A business is a method with your name on it, an ascension path, a community, assets that earn whether or not you show up that day. AI can generate a protocol. It cannot be the woman who saw the same pattern across 400 clients and turned it into a named method. It cannot be a room of twelve women holding each other to it. It cannot be a course carrying your framework that sells at 2am.
Ranked, from what I see inside the businesses I work with:
π Most exposed: hourly sessions sold as information. She can get 80% of that for free now, and she will tell you with her wallet.
π Very exposed: template and meal plan shops. Smart in 2019. A commodity in 2026.
π The one nobody is talking about: affiliate and influencer income. AI search answers without the click. Your link never gets touched. Rented land.
π Least exposed: a named method, a group program with a real community, a course built on your framework. Notice what they have in common. They are owned.
You cannot own a meal plan. Anyone can make one now. You can own a method. You can own the room. You can own the client journey. You can't protect what you don't own, and this is the year that stops being a slogan.
The Four Moves π
Name your method. What you do with clients is already a system. Map it from first call to discharge, give it a name, break it into stages. The second it has a name it is intellectual property, not a service. Do not skip this one. Everybody wants to skip this one.
Price the outcome, not the plan. A plan is worth what AI charges for it, which is zero. A woman who finally understands her own body after a decade of being dismissed is worth a great deal more, and she knows it.
Build one asset this year that delivers without you, and then put yourself in the room. Live calls, a cohort, a community. The one thing AI cannot do is be a human who has done this, in a room with other humans doing it. Stop hiding behind PDFs. The full breakdown of all four is in the episode.
Ignite kicks off September 21 and it is the room where we do everything in this episode: pull out your method, build the asset on top of it, and coach you into the CEO seat. Six months, once a year, plus an all access pass to everything I run in 2027. We start in under two weeks. Get in, today!β
Nice chat! Let's do it again next week. Until then: name your method before Sunday, stop pricing the plan, and use AI to protect your time, never to replace your judgement.
If She's The BOSS has been useful to you, here's how you can support the show: leave a 5-star rating wherever you listen. It takes a few seconds and it's the single biggest thing that helps new Holistic Nutritionists find the pod. If you've got thirty seconds, a written review means even more, tell me what episode was helpful and why. xo Leigh
