You have more education than most people in your IG feed. So why are you taking business advice from them?

Hello, Reader!

Before we get into it- this week on She's The Boss. I sat down with Sarah King of Empress Nation for one of the most honest conversations I've had on the show so far.

We talked about the mental load that feminism forgot to redistribute, why high achieving women are the best at hiding their burnout and a 30-second practice that shifts you out of overdrive instantly. I did it live on air and honestly wasn't expecting what happened.

If you've been running the show while quietly running on empty go listen.

Now let me say something that might be a little uncomfortable.

Most Holistic Nutritionists are learning how to sell from the wrong people.

Not because the people they're learning from are bad at what they do. But because the advice was never built for someone with your level of expertise, your depth of training or your specific position in the wellness industry.

Here's what I see happening constantly:

A Holistic Nutritionist with years of clinical training, a deep understanding of the human body and real client results behind her- scrolling Instagram and taking notes on how a wellness influencer sells her $47 smoothie guide.

And then wondering why the tactics feel off. Why they don't quite land. Why she feels like she's performing rather than communicating. Why she softens her prices and over-explains her value and never quite sounds like herself when she talks about her work.

It's not because she can't sell.

It's because she's trying to sell like someone she isn't.

Here's the thing about your position in the wellness space that nobody is saying out loud:

You are not an influencer! You are a clinically trained practitioner with years of education, continuing development and real client results behind you. The person whose sales content you're consuming built her following on aspiration and aesthetics. You build trust through expertise and specificity. Those require completely different approaches.

The influencer sells aspiration. You sell transformation. The influencer builds trust through relatability and volume. You build trust through expertise and depth. The influencer can afford to be vague about outcomes. You cannot- your clients are investing in their health.

When you try to sell like an influencer you dilute the very thing that makes you worth more than her.

You stop sounding like an expert and start sounding like a content creator. And your dream client- the one who actually wants the depth and expertise you carry- doesn't recognize you anymore.

Add to this that selling and business strategy simply aren't taught in nutrition school. You graduated knowing how to change someone's health. Nobody handed you a framework for talking about your prices, handling objections or leading a sales conversation with confidence and clarity.

So you were left to figure it out alone- by watching people whose business model looks nothing like yours and hoping something would stick.

Some of it has. Most of it hasn't felt quite right.

That's not a personal failing. That's a structural gap in how this industry prepares its practitioners for the business side of what they're building.

And it's exactly the gap Sales Confidence was built to close.

Not with generic sales tactics that feel pushy or performative. With a framework built specifically for practitioners- people who lead with expertise, who sell transformation not aspiration and who want to invite clients into their work in a way that feels completely aligned with who they are.

Four weeks. One live call per week. Real scenarios, real offers, real conversations- practiced until they feel like second nature.

Sales Confidence starts May 6th. Early bird: $397.

If you've been selling like someone you're not- this is where that ends.

See you inside.

Digital Course Creation for Nutritionists

I teach nutritionists how to create digital courses that run on automation. As a Holistic Nutritionist of 15+ years, I know how draining it can be to work one-one-one with clients or run group coaching. I understand the desire to increase impact while also increasing revenue. I show my students how to do both with my step-by-step process of creating a digital course with systems and automations that allow for more work-life balance and cash flow without more hours.
